About The Artist
Growing up there were two things that I wanted to do. I wanted to be a dance choreographer and I wanted to work with young women who needed to learn that they have power. Having grown up with many family challenges, I had to learn to push through at a very early age and suffered with depression due to my expierences.
I always wanted to somehow show women that they are not their circumstances and that they can rise. I wanted to empower particularly those who themselves have suffered in many ways. My art represents the soul and strength in every woman. We are creators, we are life givers, we are lovers.
I like to portray my women in beautiful, colorful and vibrant surroundings to capture the essence of that strength and beauty. But most of all, I paint to share my power.
